Marion C. Honors, CSJ, a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet, has exhibited her art nationally and internationally. Using her art for the visual component, she gives slide lectures on The New Story of Creation in retreat and educational settings. Sister Marion has a Masters Degree in Art from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Fine Arts Degree from Villa Schifanoia, Florence, Italy.

Sister Marion’s work includes relief and intaglio prints, monotypes with water based inks, and painted embossments. Her current work is an exploration of what she calls “painting/print assemblages.”

An organic gardener, Sister Marion plants heirloom and open pollinated vegetable varieties as a way of preserving planetary diversity, and for good eating! With the love and support of her religious community, she lives and works in The Studio in Latham, New York on a hillside facing the rising sun.
